Hillary Clinton’s Moral Conflicts on Abortion

Though Clinton is in favor of abortion rights, she is conflicted on the procedure’s morality, a belief that aligns with the United Methodist Church’s stances in its Book of Discipline. Renaud writes, “Clinton’s faith-based commitments give her the ability to relate to others whose views are similarly grounded. If she acknowledges her ambivalence about the morality of abortion, she could give pro-lifers the hearing they demand.”
