Why Obama’s Support for Same-Sex Marriage Won’t Hurt Him among African Americans

Jones for The Washington Post. A group of black pastors recently announced their plans to campaign against Obama because of his stance on gay marriage. Nevertheless, Jones writes, “There is no evidence that Obama’s support has slipped among the black community since his announcement [backing same-sex marriage].”
