We Saw Nuns Kill Children: The Ghosts of St. Joseph’s Catholic Orphanage

BuzzFeed News’s Christine Kenneally reports on allegations of horrific child abuse that reportedly occurred in the mid-twentieth century at the now closed St. Joseph’s Orphanage in Burlington, Vermont. Kenneally alleges that abuse, sexual assault, and even torture were systematic throughout Catholic orphanages, and these atrocities have gone largely unnoticed and un-prosecuted.
