Trump Headlines March for Life Rally in Washington, Bringing Crowds and Extra Security to the Mall

Trump’s speech at the event highlighted his administration’s anti-abortion measures. He told the crowd, “All of us here today understand an eternal truth: Every child is a precious and sacred gift from God. Together we must protect, cherish and defend the dignity and the sanctity of every human life.” Zauzmer, Bailey, and Boorstein write, “Trump’s decision to attend the rally came as he seeks to consolidate support from evangelicals in his reelection campaign.”
