posted on March 11, 2014At The Atlantic, Natalie Dicou writes about the Williams family, a polygamist family living outside of Salt Lake City and star of TLC’s new show, My Five Wives. “We’ve had people ask us, ‘If you don’t believe you have to live this way, why would you choose it?’” said Robyn, one of the wives. “But we’ve spent years building this family, and every person in it makes it what it is, and why would we throw that away just because we don’t believe we have to do it to go to heaven? If you’re happy and you’re in love, why do something to destroy that just because society thinks you’re crazy?”
