Police Investigate Portland Stabbing Suspect’s Extremist Ideology
posted on May 30, 2017USA Today’s Nate Hanson reports, “A man facing murder charges after he allegedly fatally stabbed two people and injured another on a Portland light-rail train has a history of run-ins with law enforcement and is a self-proclaimed white supremacist, authorities said.” On Friday, Jeremy Joseph Christian reportedly stabbed three people, killing two, who intervened as he was harassing two ostensibly Muslim passengers. Hanson writes, “His Facebook page is full of disturbing posts supporting white supremacy, attacking women, mocking transgender people.”
