Nation of Islam Convention Returns to its Detroit Roots
posted on February 21, 2014Mark Hicks of The Detroit News reports on this week’s Nation of Islam convention marking Saviours’ Day: a commemoration of the birth of its founder, Wallace Fard Muhammad. The convention will take place in Detroit, the birthplace of the Nation of Islam, and will include a variety of workshops, along with a keynote speech from Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam.
