Peggy Fletcher Stack of The Salt Lake Tribune writes in ABC Religion and Ethics about her experience writing about Mormonism, especially in the context of Mitt Romney’s campaigns for president. She writes, “It was fun but exhausting to be at the epicentre of the national news media for awhile, fielding questions about my beat, providing background and help to other journalists. But I, too, am happy to return to obscurity and report from the Vatican of Mormonism as it continues marching forward into the twenty-first century.”
