Marco Rubio’s Crisis of Faith

Rubio has spent time in both Catholic and evangelical Churches, creating doubts about the sincerity of his beliefs from both sides. “I would not say anything derogatory about Catholics, but Marco Rubio is very open that he is part of the Catholic Church,” said Joe Brown, pastor of the influential Marion Avenue Baptist Church. “When you say you’re doctrinally aligned with the Catholic Church, it really is contrary to what most evangelicals in Iowa believe.”
