Making America Great Doesn’t Mean Walls, Muslim Bans, Biden Says

At Bloomberg, Miles Weiss reports that Vice President Joe Biden urged the nation to abstain from vilifying Muslims in a speech given Monday at the Center for a New American Security’s annual conference. Biden’s speech was laden with references to some of Donald Trump’s most controversial foreign policy proposals, including a Muslim immigration ban and a border wall with Mexico. Weiss writes, “Wielding the ‘politics of fear and intolerance,’ such as by shutting out Muslims, ‘calls into question America’s status as the greatest democracy in the history of the world,’ the vice president said.”
