Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson Would Add Another Protestant Voice to Heavily Catholic Supreme Court

John Fritze of USA Today reports that Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who is Protestant, would add a modicum of religious diversity to the Supreme Court if confirmed. Currently, six justices on the Court are Catholic, two are Jewish, and one is Protestant. When accepting her nomination, Jackson said, “I must begin these very brief remarks by thanking God for delivering me to this point in my professional journey. My life has been blessed beyond measure, and I do know that one can only come this far by faith.”
