Jews Unite Behind Push For Immigration Reform

Rex Weiner of The Jewish Daily Forward reports on the Jewish effort to push for immigration reform and outreach to the immigrant community. “It’s about the right thing to do,” says Robert Gittelson, co-founder of Conservatives for Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Regardless of whether or not enough votes are mustered from both houses to pass the historic immigration reform bill, Jewish outreach “promises to be politically and socially influential beyond the issue it addresses.”
