Jeb Bush Questions Donald Trump’s Faith
posted on January 27, 2016Ashley Killough of CNN reports that Jeb Bush challenged fellow Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on the sincerity of his faith after he received an endorsement from leading evangelical Jerry Falwell Jr. earlier this week. Bush brought up Trump’s past blunders with religious figures, and questioned his changing position on abortion as evidence of weak faith. “Accepting the fact that we make mistakes and seek forgiveness, that’s one of the tenants of Christianity that everybody can agree on,” Bush said. “We’re all sinners. Some more than others.”
