Israel Says Three Confess to Revenge Slaying of Palestinian
posted on July 14, 2014At Reuters, Dan Williams reports that three Israeli Jews have confessed to kidnapping and murdering a Palestinian teenager earlier this month. The teenager, Mohammed Abu Khudair, was abducted in Jerusalem on July 2 before being beaten and burned alive in an incident that “helped trigger a week of Israeli-Hamas fighting around the Gaza strip.” After the murder, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the killing “loathsome” and promised to prosecute the offenders fully.
