Islamic State Releases Video Depicting Another Beheading
posted on September 3, 2014USA Today’s John Bacon reports, “The terrorist group Islamic State released a video Tuesday apparently depicting the beheading of American journalist Steven Sotloff.” ISIS kidnapped Sotloff in August of 2013 after he crossed the Syrian border from Turkey and reported near Aleppo. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Sotloff and Mr. Sotloff’s family.”
