The interview comes after nine American prelates traveled to Arizona to lay a wreath at the border in remembrance of the estimated 6,000 people who have died trying to make the crossing. “I’ve spent my entire priesthood working with undocumented aliens, so this is an issue that’s very important to me,” Cardinal O’Malley said. “It’s not about statistics, it’s about people.”
