Immigration Hardliner Says Trump Team Preparing Plans For Wall, Mulling Muslim Registry
posted on November 16, 2016At Reuters, Mica Rosenberg and Julia Edwards Ainsley report that Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach has said that Trump’s administration is already working on plans for a U.S.-Mexico border wall and a Muslim registry. Rosenberg and Ainsley write, “To implement Trump’s call for ‘extreme vetting’ of some Muslim immigrants, Kobach said the immigration policy group could recommend the reinstatement of a national registry of immigrants and visitors who enter the United States on visas from countries where extremist organizations are active.”
