How One Doctor Tried for 30 Years to Bring Clarity to the Abortion Conversationposted on August 10, 2015
In The Washington Post, Daniel Silliman writes on Howard W. Jones Jr. and his efforts to hold discussions with anti-abortion advocates about IVF, abortion, and when personhood begins. Jones visited the Vatican to discuss in vitro fertilization and spoke many times about the misunderstandings he felt people had of the science of reproduction. “He tried for more than 30 years to engage with pro-life advocates in a discussion about abortion, but that conversation is arguably just as conflicted and confused as it ever was,” Silliman writes.
