Holocaust Memorial Day 2013 Marked With Moment Of Silence In Israel
posted on April 8, 2013Aron Heller of the Associated Press reports on Holocaust Memorial Day, in which all of Israel “came to a standstill at 10 a.m. Monday to honor the victims when sirens wailed for two-minutes across the country.” In attendance was U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry who commented on the wailing sirens saying they “had a profound impact on me.”
