Prabhjot Singh Rathor, who was 12 when his father was killed in the attack, recalls the community’s support two days after the shooting: Hundreds of people of different faiths took part in a candlelight vigil in the temple parking lot, and many of them wore white turbans in solidarity. Prabhjot, who still attends the temple where his father died, said, “This is like a God house. You can’t really resist. You have to be here.”
