After the arrest of the Rev. John Praveen, Christensen said to his congregants of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, “Jesus knew suffering in so many ways … Today, we as a parish family are suffering. Suffering because our brother has been arrested. A child and a family are suffering. The church, the body of Christ, our parish community of the cathedral is suffering.”
