Dov Hikind Parties Down for Purim in “Black Basketball Player” Costume

Hunter Walker of The New York Observer reports that Dov Hikind, a Brooklyn Assemblyman, dressed up as a “black basketball player” for his Purim party. Hikind said, “I was just, I think, I was trying to emulate, you know, maybe some of these basketball players. Someone gave me a uniform, someone gave me the hair of the actual, you know, sort of a black basketball player.” Hikind later defended his costume decision, but also apologized to those he might have offended.
