Biden: Abortion “Always Wrong” in Catholic Doctrine

At The Hill, Bradford Richardson reports that Vice President Joe Biden, in a recent interview with Jesuit magazine America, said that he accepts the Catholic teaching that abortion is sinful. Biden also acknowledged that life begins at conception, while admitting the difficulties that exist of being a pro-choice politician and a practicing Catholic. “I’m prepared to accept that at the moment of conception there’s human life and being, but I’m not prepared to say that to other God-fearing, non-God-fearing people that have a different view,” Biden said.
