Ben Carson Says No to a Muslim U.S. President
posted on September 21, 2015At The Atlantic, Matt Ford reports, “GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson told NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday that the United States should never elect a Muslim president.” Carson claimed that the tenants of Islam are inconsistent with the U.S. Constitution, and therefore, a Muslim would be unfit to lead the nation. Carson said, “I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation. I absolutely would not agree with that.”
