Anti-Trafficking Ministries Now Fight QAnon Conspiracies Too

Megan Fowler of Christianity Today reports that Christian anti-trafficking organizations are combating QAnon conspiracy theories in their communities. Kristi Wells, the CEO of the Safe House Project, said, “If we’re constantly focused on looking for conspiracy theories and survivors that we can’t impact, we’re ignoring the opportunities to identify and respond to the children in our communities that are being trafficked and are right under our nose.” Countering the narratives remains difficult, however, since polling suggests more than one-quarter of Christians believe in QAnon.
