Amish PAC Aims to Get Buggies to the Polls for Trump
posted on August 8, 2016At Yahoo News, Brandon Ambrosino writes that an Amish PAC hopes to convince Amish voters to support Donald Trump in Ohio and Pennsylvania. The PAC’s efforts are reminiscent of the Bush campaign’s push in 2004 to capture the Amish vote. PAC co-founder Ben Walters says, “Imagine you’ve never read his tweets, you don’t know about his Megyn Kelly feud, you haven’t watched The Apprentice — you just don’t know a lot about him. We’re still in the phase of introducing Amish people to Donald Trump.”
