340 US Rabbis: “We Support this Historic Nuclear Accord”
posted on August 17, 2015For Religion News Service, Rabbis Steven Bob, Sam Gordon, Rachel Mikva and Burt Viotzky write in support of the Iran nuclear deal, following a statement to that effect, signed by 340 rabbis and sent to Congress on Monday. “While there is a real and severe sanctions snapback provision were Iran to cheat, there are no absolute guarantees,” they write. Nevertheless, “What is certain is that Iran will be much further from obtaining a nuclear weapon with this deal than it will be without.”
