Duggars’ TLC Show “19 Kids and Counting” Canceled
posted on July 16, 2015The Associated Press’s Frazier Moore reports that TLC canceled the reality show “19 Kids and Counting.” In addition to the cancelation, which follows the May allegations that Josh Duggar molested four of his sisters when he was a teenager, TLC announced its partnership with child-protection organizations Darkness to Light and RAINN “for an ongoing campaign to raise awareness about child sexual abuse,” Moore writes. “The goal is to take what has been a difficult and painful experience, and focus that attention on the really critical issue of child protection and child sexual abuse,” TLC president Marjorie Kaplan said.
