The New State-by-State Fight for Gay Marriage
posted on July 10, 2013Molly Ball reports that Freedom to Marry, the only national advocacy group devoted solely to gay marriage, unveiled a new strategy with ambitious goals to advance their agenda. The group, which has played a key role in winning four gay marriage ballot campaigns, plans to keep up the pressure on states, and by 2016, hopes to have national support for same-sex marriage at 60 percent and the majority of Americans living in states with legalized gay marriage.
