Transgender Teacher Sues Catholic Prep School for Alleged Discrimination
posted on February 1, 2013Moni Basu of CNN looks at the case of Mark Krolikowski, a transgender teacher at a Catholic school in New York who believes he was fired due to discrimination. Former students of the school have created an online petition to ask the school to apologize and reconsider their decision. Andrew Kimler, Krolikowski’s lawyer, said that the case has “significant ramifications for the LGBT community and is a wakeup call to employers in terms of employment practices.”
