Pennsylvania Tightens Abortion Rules Following Clinic Deaths

The passage of the law was significantly impacted by the Dr. Gosnell case in which “a Philadelphia doctor who performed abortions… is accused in the deaths of a female patient and seven babies who the prosecutor says were born alive,” Brady writes. Gosnell’s trial is currently underway.
