Homeschooling Without God

At The Atlantic, Jaweed Kaleem reports on the increasing amount of households that homeschool their children without a specific religious affiliation. For nonreligious families, it is very difficult to obtain proper credentials or secular lessons plans as Christian organizations dominate the homeschool market. “You can’t even buy a planner sometimes without there being Bible verses on it,” said Laura Smith, who homeschools her family.
