Dinesh D’Souza’s Life After Conviction

In Vanity Fair, Evgenia Peretz profiles Dinesh D’Souza, a conservative pundit convicted last year of a campaign finance violation. Known for pushing the boundaries of civil discourse, D’Souza’s outlandish rhetoric lost him his place in the intellectual world but found him a new home in conservative Christian circles just prior to his conviction, Peretz writes. Sentenced to eight months of nighttime community confinement, D’Souza is planning his next moves, saying, “This whole episode, far from denting my career, has actually brought me to the attention of a wider audience.”
