Pope Pressed on Bishop Who Supervised Pedophile
Laurie Goodstein of The New York Times reports that a group of Roman Catholics and a priest with expertise in canon law petitioned Pope Francis to take action against a Kansas City Bishop who was convicted of failing to report an active pedophile in the clergy. The petition, which asks for the resignation of Bishop Robert W. Finn, has received more than 113,000 signatures worldwide.
