Violence Persists in Central African Republic

Emmanuel Braun of Reuters reports that violence between Christians and Muslims marked the arrival of President Francois Hollande as France attempts to quell the sectarian violence in its former colony. Two French soldiers were killed as the military began its operation to disarm all fighters after Muslim Seleka rebels violently seized power in March, sparking reprisals by Christian militias.
