Religious Groups in Kentucky Petition Governor to Oppose Gas Pipeline

The Huffington Post’s Hunter Stuart reports that religious groups in Kentucky are continuing to fight against two energy companies seeking to build a gas pipeline through 150 miles of rural Kentucky. “We oppose this project because this is a hazardous liquids pipeline. It does not have the regulatory oversight that other pipelines have,” Sister Susan Classen said. “It’s not safe and it’s not right.”
