Sen. Graham’s 20-week Abortion Ban Has Already Passed in More than a Dozen States

On Thursday, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina introduced a bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks called “The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.” The Washington Post‘s Niraj Chokshi provides an inforgraphic and reports such restrictions have already passed in more than a dozen states. He writes, “Such a ban enjoys broad support across a number of demographics … At least half of Republicans, independents, those aged 18 to 29, women and whites support such a ban.”
