How Much Should it Cost to Find God?

At The Atlantic, Natasha Scripture writes about her own personal experience with the commercialization of spirituality. She notes, “According to the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, almost 40 percent of Americans use non-Western medicine and alternative health care approaches for specific conditions or overall well-being.” This fuels a million-dollar spirituality and well-being industry that makes Scripture wonder, “But in the end, shouldn’t the cost of finding God be priceless? As in, free?”
