Christian Ethicist Jean Bethke Elshtain Dies at 72

Sarah Pulliam Bailey of Religion News Service writes an obituary for the late Christian ethicist Jean Bethke Elshtain, who served on the National Advisory Board of the John C. Danforth Center on Religion & Politics, which publishes this journal. Pulliam Bailey talks with our own Marie Griffith on Elshtain’s legacy. “Depending on who you talk to, she was an ethicist, philosopher, legal thinker,” Griffith said. “She had so many hats and wrote about so many issues that related to a lot of us.”
