As Kin, Survivors Watch, Tsarnaev Pleads Not Guilty

David Abel and Eric Moskowitz of The Boston Globe report Dzhokhar Tsarnaev pleaded not guilty to 30 charges, including use of weapons of mass destruction, in his first day in court. The alleged Boston Marathon bomber could face up to life in prison or the death penalty if convicted. Tsarnaev’s brief appearance lasted about seven minutes, and his next hearing is scheduled for September 23.
