Texas Abortion Drama Set To Resume
Katie Glueck of POLITICO reports the abortion battle is set to resume in the Texas legislature. After State Senator Wendy Davis successfully filibustered a far-reaching abortion bill last week, Republicans vowed that this time there will be order. “The votes are still there,” Governor Rick Perry said during an interview. “Nothing’s changed. The question is, are you going to let a small group of people take over the process, an unruly mob to keep democracy from occurring?”
