Imprisoned Iranian-American Pastor Gets Push from State Dept.

Banks reports, “Secretary of State John Kerry is calling for the release of an Iranian-American minister from a Tehran prison.” The State Department has been criticized for not doing enough to secure the release of the pastor, Saeed Abedini. In a statement responding to Kerry’s appeal, the pastor’s wife Nagmeh Abedini said, “I am hopeful that this will put more pressure on the Iranian government to act and free Saeed so he can return to our family in the United States,”
