Young Opponents of Same-Sex Marriage Fight on

Despite growing popular support for same-sex marriage, young conservatives opposed to gay rights continue their efforts, reports Ashley Parker of The New York Times. Parker writes that these activists view the battle over same-sex marriage as a long political struggle, comparing it to anti-abortion efforts. Andrew Walker, a policy analyst at the Heritage Foundation, said, “If you take the longer view of history — I’m not talking just 15 years, I’m talking 40 years or even 100 years — I can’t help but think that the uniqueness of man-woman marriage will be adjudicated over time.”
