Is Secularism Making a Comeback?

For The Washington Post, Jacques Berlinerblau, a self-proclaimed pessimist, finds optimism that secularism may truly be on the rise globally. “Again, it is way too early to tell if secularism is on the comeback trail, but even a curmugeon such as myself can recognize signs of hope,” he says. Berlinerblau writes for the OnFaith section in part to promote the “Secularism on the Edge” conference, taking place at Georgetown University this week.
