Gunfire At Nigerian Church Kills At Least 19 People
On Monday night, gunmen “fired on a worship service in a church in central Nigeria, killing at least 19 people,” the Associated Press reports. Nigeria is a “nation often divided by religion.” According to the AP, “The attack comes as Nigeria faces continuing attacks from a radical Islamist sect known as Boko Haram.”
