Some clergy led twenty funerals per day, while others were adapting to the new challenge of conducting worship services and spiritual counseling in online formats. Christopher Johnson, an assistant pastor in Houston, noted that the pandemic “has called us to rethink and re-imagine what our philosophy of ministering really is in the age of COVID.’”
