Ebenezer Pastor Raphael Warnock Enters U.S. Senate Race
The Associated Press’s Ben Nadler reports that the Rev. Raphael Warnock of Atlanta will be challenging Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler in the upcoming Senate election. The pastor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s former church, Ebenezer Baptist, Warnock is one among three Democrats in Georgia running for the Senate seat. “I’m running because I think that this is a critical moment in our state and in our country. I want to make sure kids have a path the same way I did,” Warnock said.
