CNN’s Tamara Qiblawi, Mohammed Tawfeeq, and Eliza Mackintosh report, “Twin car bombings just hours apart have targeted two groups of people going about their daily lives in Baghdad – young families having a late night Ramadan snack and older city residents collecting their pensions.” The first bomb went off on Monday night in an ice cream shop, while the second followed soon after at the General Retirement Department, where elderly residents were lining up to collect their pensions.
