“Together” Is a Modern-Day Evangelical Revival, Complete With TED Talks, Hip-Hop and No Politics

At The Washington Post, Michelle Boorstein writes that “Together,” a gathering of evangelical Christians, is scheduled to occur Saturday on the National Mall. The rally, organized Nick Hall, the founder of PULSE, a student-led evangelism movement, will include popular Christian musicians and well-known evangelists. Boorstein writes, “Hall said his goal is just to hold a huge, love-Jesus rally — something that has been mostly absent from American public life since the days of Billy Graham’s famed Crusades.”
