GOP’s Trump Says U.S. Should Consider Profiling Muslims
The Associated Press’s Laurie Kellman reports that yesterday Donald Trump called for the profiling of Muslim Americans to prevent domestic terrorism in an interview with CBS’s “Face the Nation.” The presumptive Republican presidential nominee defended his comments, claiming that common sense must prevail over political correctness. Kellman writes, “Trump’s statements are consistent with his other, long-expressed views on how to stop terrorism in the United States, including a temporary ban on foreign Muslims from entering the country until the U.S. can figure out ‘what is going on.’”
